In November, we gather at the Camp Fire Program Center to fellowship, eat, sing songs, and enjoy the simple joy of a good old-fashioned campfire! Everyone is welcome - grab a blanket or chair and enjoy an evening by the fire.
For over 20 years, Camp Fire has taken part in this national initiative to celebrate the work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. We gather to take part in a local service project as a way to remember. While the types of projects vary, they are always family-friendly! Past project partners have included VISTE, Circle B Bar Reserve, and Street Audubon Center.
Camping is a long-standing tradition of Camp Fire. In keeping with this tradition, the Sunshine Council hosts Spring Camp every year for registered Camp Fire families. Whether in tents or in cabins, members will find the camp experience to be a relaxing weekend with just the right mix of fun, learning experiences, and memory-making for a lifetime.
